Born from a deep sensory connection to the Western Australian landscape, Icon Honey reflects the richness, complexity and beauty of the natural world from where it is derived. Moved by Icon Honey’s surrounding ancient forests after rain, the crisp coastal air and the intricate patterns found throughout the natural bushland, the brand celebrates honey not simply as a product, but as an expression of place.

Drawing inspiration from the organic design language of Art Nouveau, Icon Honey’s brand identity embraces flowing botanical forms, ornamental details and the natural rhythm found throughout the Western Australian bushland. At the centre of the identity is a bespoke monogram where stylised botanical elements and hive inspired geometrical shaped patterns, come together reflecting both the natural landscape and the precision behind beekeeping as a craft.

The packaging architecture was carefully considered to create a refined and cohesive presence across the range. Larger retail jars feature the full monogram as the hero element on the label, allowing its detail and craftsmanship to be expressed, while smaller jars adopt a simplified version that maintains clarity and brand recognition at scale.

A special 80g jar introduces a bespoke sleeve structure with a die-cut window, revealing a secondary lid label beneath featuring not only the Icon Honey mark, but also the varietal name. This creates a layered presentation, enhancing the overall customer experience, suited to gifting, hospitality, airline sectors and premium retail environments.

Copper foil detailing depicts the luminosity of honey, adding a subtle warmth, depth and tactility while allowing generous negative space to keep the product at the forefront.

Across the range, the packaging structure remains consistent, brand first, origin second, variety third. This highlights the diverse floral landscapes of Western Australia, from Jarrah and Karri to Marri and Wandoo as well as seasonal varieties, each with its own colour, aroma and flavour profile.

Icon Honey positions Western Australian honey alongside fine regional produce, where provenance, biodiversity and small-batch craft define its value. The result is a considered identity that transforms a sensory connection to landscape into a disciplined design system, where nature is not simply illustrated but thoughtfully designed.
