With a plethora of nougat products available to purchase, MONDO NOUGAT wanted a souvenir gift item visitors could buy as a reminder of their Mondo experience.
A classic Italian car - a cherry red Fiat has been owned, used, restored and is proudly displayed in their showroom as a signature piece and reminder of their Italian heritage. It also provided the perfect vehicle to transport these fine sweets away with them - in the form of a Fiat shaped tin.
The car and its passengers were inspired by movies like the Italian Job and Italian movie stars Sophia Loren and Gina Lollobrigida. The graphic of the car is embossed out of the tin lid with the words La Dolce Vita, (The Sweet Life) gracefully floating across the side of the car. The carefree nature and cheekiness of the characters are carefully balanced with a decorative Art Deco inspired design for the tin base. Using the lustre of the metallic gold against the black background, this signature tin elegantly presents Mondo Nougat as a choice commemorative gift for lovers of The Sweet Life.
